the only places that i can think of to put the dvd player is either in the glove box or on top of dash. in the glove box it's gonna be akward to change cd's; and the dash idea is too easily seen. why didnt you go with the motorized screens with the built-in player?

and as for wiring the rtek on the screen...i dunno

make some brackets and put it UNDER the glove box area. My brother did that before. Just get a controller =P. you should be able to reach there to change cds

a flip out won't work in the stock location since it hits the shifter, i relocated mine to where the logicon was, it is a better location for it anyways since looking down is a pita and sort of defeats the purpose.

i was thinking the same when i was drawing out my plans. i figured since i dont use the a/c and heater, take the whole logicon system out and i have plenty of space to put whatever i want...hence the drawing..... it's also bad enough that when i shift upwards and have a finger slightly sticking out - BAM - i pushed a button!!

I forgot to mention that...
i put the dvd player in the glove and extended the head unit so it sits
tucked in between the seats and im remolding the center console/arm rest to fit it better and to have cupholders (maybe)
i used to install custom systems and electronics so i got it thru my work payed 150 for the eigervision dvd player and emerson screen plus a fm modulator for audio(untill i get a cd player with aux input)
but the dvd player isnt workin right plus i got some wiring issues to handle now

i just wish the rtek workin with more then just a palm pilot
cuz then i would find a place for a computer
i got plenty of time to waste waitin for my job to start
