Wierd Noise at 4,000 rpms

Ok today I just got my oil changed, and I put Royal Purple Synthetic 5w20, now all of a sudden while drivin' my car on the free way in rush hour traffic, I started hearing some squeling, then I tested the waters scared as hell, and it started at 4,000 rpms, now could this be because of a new oil change having to break in the engine or what? I read the fact guide at the beginning of the forum, so yeah.

Its kind of hard to say, I doubt your oil has to "break in"

I would look around the engine bay, and under the car to make sure nothing is out of place.

Check your belts, maybe they dripped some oil on one of them or something..

as i was looking under the hood, i had my friend rev the rpms to 4,000, it still made the same noise, and it wasn't any belts or the turbo....... I think I heard come from inside the engine, so could it be the oil? do I need another oil change just with regular oil other then synthetic 5w20

I've only heard this from word of mouth, but I've heard that royal purple is too thin for rotary. You might not like the idea of the cost, but dump your purple and either full it with regualr castrol GTX, or the synthetics advirtised as "for rotary engines" and see if your noise persists.
