Dump the NA for a TII?

I'm new to the board, and after scouring for some numbers, and it's seems discouraging to see that most of our "souped up" NAs still running high 15s to low 16s. Are these similar to stock Honda civic times? I mean for all the "BPU" stuff(w/o nos) mentioned in this forum, ie intake, headers, presilencers, alum flywheel, TII hood, etc, I would expect to be in the high 14s to low 15s. Is it even worth shelling out all that money, making all that noise just to keep up with a stock civic? Wait me up if you will, I still like the NA for still mechanic excellence.

There is more to the car than beating a stock civic. The balance of the car alone is radically better than a FWD Honda, and don't forget the 15 year old shape that arguably still looks better today than any FWD Honda to date.

But if you are looking for more speed than 15 sec (which BTW is much faster than any stock Civic I have seen... even the best stock Civic a late model SI took 16 seconds for a 1/4 mile), maybe a Turbo or TII would be a better choice than a NA FC
