Dual Oil Lines To Turbo

Ok, I'm doing a custom turbo kit on my 88 N/A motor. I was talking to a friend of mine that just built a RE motor, and said he isn't going to run water lines to his turbo. After talking about it for a few minutes we started wondering what would happen if you ran oil to the water ports on the turbo along with the stock oil ports. We came to the conclusion that since water doesn't leak into the housing, then neither should any oil, and that would be pretty much the only prob, cept maybe the oil being too hot. If anyone has tried this before, and knows why it can/can't be done. Please elaborate. TIA for any info.

What would this accomplish? The original oil lines are for lubricating the turbo while the water lines are for cooling it. If you ran oil into the water line it would attempt to do the same thing, correct?

And your sig is awesome, I love tool. I know you well, you are a part of me.

It's common for those who don't want to run coolant lines through their turbo, but the turbo does have a coolant cooling.

Ehh, it's just my friend was going to block off the coolant lines going to the turbo, and thought maybe running oil through it might give the turbo some extra lubrication. And plus after he mentioned we were just wondering if it was doable or not.
