Dual N1 installed

it's installed, here's a pic... tone is extremely deep, a little less aggressive sounding than my old Dual Dunk setup, but a tad louder (larger piping, smaller mufflers). it seems like the low end is a little laggier (wired 6 ports as well) but power is strong from 5K upward (like my old system) and the last 1000 or so RPM revs with more authority. can't get up my driveway anymore either, but for $500.00 brand new i couldnt turn this system down, its the one I always wanted. Clearance isn't what I'd call live-able for everyday, but entrances to shopping centers and speedbumps are no problem. driveways are the real nag, but once she's turbo'd it won't be driven much during the week anymore. thats what the GVR4 is for

GC coilovers and the sideskirts...the skirts give a little beefiness to the car but they're also pretty subtle. heres another shot w/ the stance of the front lip, sideskirts and exhaust...excuse the dirtiness...it was all nice and clean but it snowed last night a bit...salt on the roads, u know the rest. once the GVR4 is done I can let my 7 sit for nice days

Yikes! Even though you say that the N1s are smaller than what you had before, they still look huge in that last pic. You will either attract or scare the ricers. Their behavior is sometimes hard to predict.

yea, the dunk canister is a lot bigger than the N1's...these look huge bc they are mounted low and angled. the actual mufflers aren't very big. I always wanted the look of the FC's in Option 2 & this helps me a long

the rims are ADR stage II's, silver...I wanted a bronze wheel but I'm gonna wait till the whole car gets re-painted bc I don't think that color wheel would look nice w/ black trim (though I think the burgandy will go nicely w/ it). Bronze TE37's look sweet on FC's, or Gram Lights.

sideskirts are kamanari...I think they were the last ones in the country!! about a year ago i was looking for some skirts and a supplier of ours said he had one set for years and years in a box collecting dust. he said they were a clean plain skirt that went up by the trim which is exactly what I wanted. the mufflers are ok on speedbumps and entrance-ways, i drove around a bit this afternoon...can't back up my driveway though, not even remotely possible. the front lip is also too low to go up forwards, so i'm stuck in the street, good thing i'm on a dead end

wouldn't be easy...much more trouble than its worth. if you want a similar setup get two N1 universals and make your own!! the angle def. isn't for everyone...either a love or hate affair

Looks great

Hey i got a question for ya. Did you have a single exaust set up with the Dunk>? If so im wondering if you notice a diffrence in power cuz i feel that if you of went single you would of gotten more power out of her. I did this with my gxl, i have a N1 single and i sware i gained like at least 25hp at the flywheel. Its such a diffrence.
But hey looks great and nice work

royal did you go stock or somehting similar for an N1 single cause that would give you alot of poer but going to say an N1 duel to an N1 single wouldnt give you that kinda power

nope, my dunk system was a dual also...it's in my basement for sale, 2.25 inch custom w/ Y pipe & 2 apexi dunks. good for NA's, check the parts for sale section if anyones interested, there is a price up there but make an offer. my first exhaust was a single (this is the 3rd), w/ an X-TEC muffler. The vibration of the rotary seemed to loosen the internals of the muffler over time (rebuildable, held together w/ VERY long bolts and a few nuts). It was a 2.5 inch single exit on the drivers side, a little too loud...would be good for a road race car though. I still have that muffler section as well and I took the nuts/bolts out of the muffler and had the can TIG'g in place...u can make an offer for that too, pics available...just ask, stuff is just sitting in my basement. BTW, I didn't notice any power changes from single to dual, I already had my downpipe/racepipe on and thats where the real power comes from. The dual N1 seems to have lost low end and gained some top end compared to my old dunk setup..larger piping I assume. Can't wait for the TII swap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
