Hey all, I am taking my '87 GXL in with new bumper and front end to get repainted... lots of chips and dings etc I don't want to be there.. so I am spending the bucks to make it look nice.. they are going to clean it.. paint it.. and all the protective clear coats etc.. and clean up the engine bay area...

I have a few quick questions I would like to get some feedback on,

1) Do you think I should have the tags (like the emblems that says 'Mazda' and 'RX-7' on the back) taken out.. the holes filled and painted over? Or should I keep them to show my 'RX-7 pride'??

2) What do you think the best color for an FC is? It is red right now, and I thought either I really nice red or black would look nice on it.

That is about it, I am planing on redoing the body/paint on this thing.. already got a nice intake... but I want to get a new exhaust system.. then leave it as is and get a T-II for some serious speed ... but they are hard to find.. I have checked canadatrader.com and autotrader.ca (I live in canada) does anyone else have any other suggestions to find a T-II in canada? I would get one from the states but I don't want to have to deal with all that BS getting it across border....

keep the stock color and the tags too.

 

Personally I like to keep the outside of my car nice and clean, and removing the stickers and badges can really clean up a car. Anyone who doesn't recognise an RX-7 without reading the badges probably doesn't care that much anyway. Anyone who shares your RX-7 pride (and that'd be most of us here) will spot you long before the badges are ledgible. But that's just my opinion; do what you think looks best.
