SK Dual Magnaflow race 3" 14835 on FC

Hey guys, I have a lame v8 rx7 and I'm putting dual 3" magnaflow 14835 stainless mufflers with 7" long 4" dia tips on my car thoguht i'd share a mock up pick for now

Please ignore the lame 275 nittos also, they don't handle very well

These mufflers clear the stock heat shields with a bit of bending of the 'shields.. I would probably run some fibreglass around the tops if it's tight to stop resonatin!

Heres the specs from the oem site.. the 4" x 4" tip would prolly fit better...

http://images.magnaflow.com/02product/parts/14835.jpg

PART #: 14835
DESCRIPTION: Inlet/Outlet Size: 3in./4in.
Body Shape: 5in.x8in. Oval
Core Size: 3in.
Body Length: 14in.

Clearly between the v8 upsetting the weigh balance and the magnaflows, it just has to suck........

Clearly, you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
A properly done V-8 swap does NOT "upset the weigh (sic) balance", there are plenty of cars on the V-8 forum with corner weight data that prove the point.

If you couldn't detect the sarcasm, my username should have at least given you a hint that I wasn't serious.

This thread = win.

To the OP: what's left until it's on the road? FWIW I've been really happy with the tone of the magnaflows ever since I pieced mine together. I run a very similar tip even.

The car has been done for a couple of years. I bought it completed. I have just gone nuts and I'm throwing...

cnc'd ls6 heads (60cfm gain intake 40 exhaust), comp cam, pushrods, lifters, timing set...

And many more parts at it... It will be slow!
