convert s4 presilencer to fit with s5 downpipe

Hey hows it goin everybody? i wanted to ask, i have a downpipe and presilencer from a s4 i got from a previous rx7 now i have a s5 and im looking into putting an exhuast on it but i dont want to put a cat back on the cat if its close to being or is shot so i want to use a racing beat presilencer and down pipe. my question is the s4 presilincer that i have can i cut or block off the backpressure line or will i have to get a s5 presilncer? hopefully this makes sense

Any help will be appreciated thanx

Both s4's & S5's use the will have pickup tubes on the presilencer. They will both be identical. Don't cut it, just block it off with something similar to the high temperature hose provided with the presilencer and block off the end of the rubber (silicone?) hose with something.

The S5 RB presilencer actually doesn't have the pick up tube. So if this S4 one is never going to go back on an S4 car, it can be cut off and welded over. But the other way would be to make a little block off plate and bolt in onto the end. It'll have a small flange for you to attach it too.
