DTSS at work (VIDEO!)

okay.. so a friend of mine always makes videos of our local car club...

there's 2 FC's in it... but the only shot related to this thread starts about 10 seconds in and goes for 15 seconds..

it's my 10ae :P

http://www.lo-cash.com/videos/bittersweet4.wmv

I never realized just how much it actually steers..

thoughts?

Best thing you could do is eliminate the dtts, especially if you are drifting as you were in the video.
The dtts is crap.
Cool vid btw.

Also, lets see some pics of your turbo vert

Nice video! And that really doesn't suprise me, it certaintly feels like the tires move hella back there. And the reason I am currently putting in the eliminators.... Never saw it in "action" like that before, nice (thumbs up)

Ps, compubob. I was waiting for you to get out, and put the cone infront of that dude's car.... it's what I would have done... :-D

ive had a few cones put in front of me, and im not complaining

also, they could be old and worn, maybe thats why there is sooo much, its too bad they still didnt make fc's so we could see a new one to compair against

Umm, I really don't know. I don't see them listed on corksport, or mazdatrix. Dealer only possibly? And what about the other two bushings holding the hub in place? Are those dealer only as well?

Edit, hey, you. Yeah you, the guy below me :-p. Dealer item for the other two hub mounts as well???

dealer item!

I don't think mine are worn... but I don'tt like them, I plan on eliminating them.

I wish I knew why the car had such horrible camber in the rear though... it seems excessive to me.

NICE vid. I don't like the feel of the DTSS. It feels too loose.

I don't think the dealer even carries rear-steer bushings anymore, I'm pretty sure they were discontinued IIRC...

Did Mazda implement DTSS for the FC to lower the oversteer experienced in the FB?
