dropped rotor
I dropped this rotor on a concrete floor and it landed right on the tip of the apex seal slot. I pounded it out a little.
Can this be repaired and still be used safely? Or should I just look for a new another rotor?

Yeah, depends on how important this motor is to you... if its a floor sweeper motor and you just want to get something running, I'd file that bitch out. as long as you keep the grooves tight and take off about the same amount on the other corners (to balance the thing out), I'd imagine it would work just fine...
but if you care at all about this motor.. new rotor.

It's hosed. No amount of filing or bending will make it ever work again.
Get another and a piece of steel rod. Make a dumbbell out of it then show off your rotor muscles.
