Driveshaft question

Im doin a TII swap into my FB. I've been told an Automatic FC driveshaft has the TII yoke on it and the N/A flange for the rear end.. can anyone confirm this?

Thanks

True. The Auto driveshaft really is too short for use with a TII tranny/N/A differential, but it appears you'll only be using the yokes anyway to make a custom driveshaft for your application, so this thing would work great for you.
Plus, no one wants them, so they are dirt cheap.

The driveshafts don't normally break, really.
The problem is the yoke of the auto driveshaft doesn't seem to fit far enough onto the TII tranny when used with a TII tranny/NA rear-end setup. The auto tranny is about 2 inches longer, which makes the driveshaft 2" too short. Its more a piece of mind, kind of thing... no one likes to risk shear the teeth off of their transmission output shaft and/or having the front of their driveshaft fall and pole vault into the pavement, destroying the car, when a hybrid driveshaft can easily be fabbed up to work fantastic.

true

and that is why I added that little disclaimer
but it seemed to hold up ok with around 350-280hp behind it
but then again as said he broke the rear end first and who knows how long the splines would have lasted with a good rear end in there
