drivers side door lock help

can anyone let me know how to get my old driver's door lock out and replace it?

i already have the new one, and i got the pannle off and everything, but i just cant figure out how to GET TO THE LOCK

i ran a search and i couldn't find anything specific, all i saw was people saying "run a search and talk to us later" (it doesn't help when everone is saying "search" and no one has actualy written anything)

There is two nuts holding the whole assembly on. Remove them, 10MM I think, and the whole door handle assembly will come off after you remove a few plastic clips. The lock is held in place by a wire spring clip. Pop that off and the lock cyclinder comes right out.

take out the weather strips and roll the window down all the way.

I didn't have to take out any weather strips. Just lower the window and if you took out the door panel you should be able to get to the nut.
