MD Drivers Side Door handle.

I just removed the door panels off both sides to see what makes it work. But it seems there is a piece of the window blocking me off from really figuring anything out. Im sure the door handle isnt connected to this latch but where is this latch? can this be done without removing the whole window?

I did work on my door handle too. You have to work on it with the window down. See if that helps you access those hard to reach nuts
