No no no, hes talking about the little black box behind the panel beside the fuse box right? good luck finding one of those for less than 100, i went to a junk yard and bought a bunch of random crap and through three of them at the bottom of my wheel barrel, the guy poked around it for a second and told me 70 bucks for the lot, i promptly went home and dissasembled them and built one good one out of them, theres three seperate little computers inside the one box that all plug into the harness seperatley from each other, Junk yarding it would be my best bet.

Not positive of what all exactly it controls but i do know with it out my horn, turn signals, windshield wipers, and a few other thing dont work, oh and it controls the dummy lights, when i put my rebuilt one in i had like three of those suckers on, glad i caught them in time, and try junk yard first then dealership if no at the dealership try here http://mazdatrix.com/86-92Electrical-Chassis.htm and item numbers 67-5620-FB05, 67-5640-FC66 (that ones if you have an airbag), 67-5640-FC01 (that ones if not), and 67-5640-FB01, those are the boards inside it, you can buy just whats not working from him and replace it yourself, its not that hard just a srew and the panels pop off.

ECU = engine computer found in the passengers floor board
CPU = body computer, controls the turn signals, brake lights, security (on S5 models) and horn. in the driver's kick panel.

The ECU almost never fails unless someone tested something wrong or hacked up something.
And the CPU has multiple circuit boards, that if one is broken, you replace that one, not the whole thing.

uhm im not quite sure, i bought the car from some guy, and it came with 3 ecu's, S5 N/A, S5T, S4 N/A, it came with no cpu and the motor was blown i think, i got it rebuilt, the mechanic said the engine is working fine now, compression is running strong, but he notcied that the sparks are sparking all at the same time, so i think he said hes going to find the cpu on the driverside, but for me, im not sure whats wrong...

And your mechanic doesn't have a clue. The leading sparks are the same and do fire exactly at the same time.
The leading coil is simply a single coil with two outputs, one for the leading front and one for the leading rear.
You probably need to find a new mechanic, as the one you have does not appear to know what he is doing.

and the FB01 board is not available any more, use the FB05 for a S4 instead.

Again, the CPU has nothing to do with the car running.

The FB05 adds a timer circuit for luminating the key holes in the doors and at the steering column.
Other than that, they are identical and completely interchangeable.
In fact using a FB05 on a car that had a FB01, will add ignition key lumination with just adding a bulb to the ignition key light.
