Drive shaft/ Tranny yoke joining Q

So im at that point where I need to mount my new tranny yoke and drive shaft. I got one of those "+" pieces that joins the two and I know that the caps on the four corners pop off, when I have the "+" in place between the yoke and drive shaft do I just use a rubber mallet to beat the caps on and then pin them in place or am I missing something?

You prety much have it. Just hit the caps in until there is enough room to put the pins in and then if you have that valve to fill it with grease just pump it full.
