well, for a basic setup, springs and shocks will work just fine. some crappy tires in the back help out a lot too. if you want to get serious, some camber plates will help out a bit. the best drift mod is the same as any other type of racing.....seat time. driver skill helps more than anything else. learn to control the car stock before you mod the car. your car should slide just fine stock. mods will increase the speeds and an unskilled driver can hurt himself, his car, or others at serious speeds. drive better before you mod the car. my $.02.

you kinda have to figure that one out on your own. its all a matter of feeling the car as to know how to modulate throttle and brakes. that all comes with experience.

where do you suggest practice, there arent any big parking lots here for me to practice in, so what would i use?? i can "somewhat" control a drift, but im no where near even slightly good, not enough practice

Just make certain you have good sticky tires up front and a good LSD in back. The rest is practice, practice, practice. Gran Turismo doesn't count either. :-)

to drift u approach corner at moderate speed at first and there is numerouse ways to drift one it just to oversteer and plant to boot

the other it to approch the corner tun in while acclerating and kick the clutch this casues ryour rear tires to exceed lateral traction and thus drift
the hardest way is the scandanavian flick (rally style) turn away from corner then turn sharply back towards the corner

Weird wording. hehe. You can just call it inertia drift. Drifting is all about suspension and control. The most important thing is to have fun!

We just had a drift event with Signal Auto in Honolulu a few weeks ago.&nbsp Talking with one of their pro drifter drivers, he claims he had to practice 6 days a week for 6 years to get at the level of drifting he is at now.&nbsp In that time, he managed to kill one S13 and six AE86's!&nbsp Talk about dedication...

Right on bro.
But if you are curious, here is my setup:
stock rims w/falken ziex 502's(cheap crap drift tires)
kyb agx's on all 4's, rear set to 4, front to 3
stock springs
racing beat sway bars
manual rack and pinion steering

I dont know, using crappy tires in the rear seems like a good idea at face value but IMO if you think about it, its not. if you have bad tires in the rear, it'll be much harder to catch the rear again.
