drift starting

I have an 88 TII that wont start after i drive for a while and park it, unless I drift start it down a hill. I have read through some FAQ but all i can come up with is leaky injectors does this sound right?

does it smell like gas when you crank it after it sat?

I hope this thread doesn't turn into a "i can drift better than you" thread.

maybe thats what we should call it, ......"drift start" sounds cooler than "push starting" or pop starting"...hahahah

You need a fuel cut switch.

so the starter wont work after youve driven it? when you turn the key what happens? Is it just dead or any noises? Or will it turn over and just not fire?

I dont think a Fuel Cut switch will help if his starter is kaputz, be logical about it.

I know the drift thing is funny but lets help him out then make fun of the drift thing huh?
