Yeah, that's 2.5" exhaust pipe. I'm going to change all of that soon, simply because it's not mandrel, and the way it's laid out sucks ***. Basically I've got too many damn couplers all over the place, and that's where I kept blowing them off at. I want to just get some mandrel bends and have it all welded together, but I was in a hurry to finish, so I got stuck with the crap that's on it now.

Stock shortblock, sorry about that. I bought this block from 1Revvin7 quite a while ago, it had 140k miles on it then, and now it's got at least 180k miles on it, and still kicking strong! The intake manifolds are all ported.

Well, now I see why Aaron refused to post his timeslips. After the onslaught of messages on AIM about how I'm full of **** and making things up, I really doubt I'm going to post much more about my project. Figures that they hide behind AIM, instead of just posting on here. Oh well.

I just don't see why they would. If you're taking a N/A engine and turbocharging it for big numbers, that makes you the devil? Wtf people, grow up.
I support your (and Aaron's) project. I hope you blow the doors off all the bastards getting on AIM bitching at you because your car kicked up some sand into their vaginas as you blew past them.

I don't know what the problem is. I guess it's to do with the fact they didn't think it was possible, who knows. Sadly, the dyno is 4 hours away, so the only thing I have to really test with is the 1/4 track and the g-tech. The g-tech gives me about 260rwhp @ 12psi with the car at about 2650lbs, so we'll see once we get to the dyno how accurate that is.

All it is are the people that are too stupid to realize that a high compression 6-port lightened n/a is going to be faster easier than a low compression 4-port heavy turbo. Don't let it discourage you from showing pics of your progress in the project, and if they do you can still let me know or show me on AIM if you'd like

. I always like seeing pictures of hot/sexy things. Especially what's "under the hood" *wink* *nudge* *wink*.

Well, the problem is, my neices and nephews use the computer and see that crap as people message/etc, and I don't really appreciate it much. I mean, I don't claim to have the fastest car in the world or to be faster than anybody else, all I'm doing is posting what numbers I've got from my little project car, I don't see what their problem is.
Jealously is all it is. List of why they're jealous...
A: They tried and failed.
B: Your car is faster
C: Your car is cheaper
D: Your car is cooler
E: Your car is lighter
F: They have a small *****
I just plain can't see why somebody would be jealous of someone elses car. I love 3rd gens, but I'm not jealous of people that own them. If someone had a N/A 1st gen that was to beat my (hypothetical) 3rd gen, GOOD FOR THEM. Props on all the work they put in.

Haha, you guys are a riot. Hopefully within the next week I'll be able to get down for some dyno time, the next track date is October 8th.

I missed it if you did... price for the conversion?

Just post their names on here, im sure someone will get bored and bother those who do not believe back. Or better yet, post it in the lounge where you will find plenty of drunk folk who sit on AIM all night.

Adding fuel to the fire usually doesn't help extinguish it. Anyway, more on-topic, I've got most of my roof repairs done, so hopefully I can get primered so I can drive it out to the dyno. I'm still quite amazed that my 6k rpm clutch drops haven't destroyed my rear-end or tranny yet.
