Downpipes

I'm rebuilding my motor, and am now considering a downpipe because it will be easier to put on now that the engine is out. Which downpipe do would any of you recommend.

The car is a bone stock (exhaust and all) 89 TII.

Oh yah, I also have over 1hour of video from pulling the motor, I just don't know where i can serve it from.

I'll have more video from the acutal rebuilding part too.

yah but then i'd need an FCD, and i don't completly trust them yet. I can't afford a whole new computer. maybe i should send the ECU in for a "re-chipping"

Just get the damn DP

Just the DP wont send your engine into fuel-cut territory, so you wont need the FCD. Even if you do, and the FCD does work, then you'll need a lot more air (i.e intake, catback, midpie etc) to make the mixture so lean that it really gets dangerous....

Come on people, FCDs are not the root of all evil, they do work, and since the ECU forces the engine to run rich when WOT, if you do reach higher than stock boost levels, its going to take a lot more air from the turbo to make the mixture THAT lean...
