Downpipe wont bolt to Turbo (V-Band)

I seem to be having a clearance issue with the particular custom Turbo-mani I'm running.

Got a T04 turbo which I'd like to have run with a 3in downpipe, however, when ready to connect everything, the downpipe completely hits against the lower intake manifold right by the block off plates

Here's a photo I took, any suggestions or similar probs you've experienced, please let me know, would appreciate the help:

I see no picture, but did you try rotating the pipe?

usually when fabricating parts, i keep working with them until they eventually fit.

i don't exactly know what else you're looking for here.

so little information is given to try to help you, is this a custom set up ( meaning the DP as well as the manifold ) , used, new, who built it and where did it come from

Can any of you see the image I posted? Wasnt sure if its visible.

Sorry for the lack of detail, thought I explained a good portion of my issue clearly. About my setup, the turbo manifold is custom, and the dwnpipe appears to be custom as well...both are used. I bought the parts from two separate people. I needed a dwnpipe and needed a turbo-mani,I assumed everything would sit properly with no issues.

The turbo is from Godspeed and is the T04. I've asked a few buddies of mine who said that there is a "spacer" you can obtain for turbo manifolds that extends it outward a few inches, this allows clearance so that the dwnpipe is not touching or is too close to the intake manifolds.

Where can I obtain this spacer? Thanks!

unless ALL parts come from the same manufacturer it is highly unlikely it is going to fit without modification to the parts.

custom manifold
custom downpipe

purchased from 2 different dudes
why would you think they would just bolt up to each other?

^prior to this more agressive setup, anything turbo on my FC was stock, manifold, turbo, everything stock. So for me to change things up 2nd time around and go with a bigger downpipe and upgraded turbo & manifold with intention of good fitment was just natural to me. Lesson learned, there are cases where things will not bolt up directly.

As for the pics I've been trying to post, I'll just have to use a different link. I hate that they're not showing up.

thought:
would you be OK if you used a T4 spacer?..something like this or similar?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/T4-GTX4294R-GT4202-GTX4202R-GT4508R-GT4508R-Turbo-TAPPED-Mild-Steel-FLANGE-1-2-/380699302196?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item58a3725934&vxp=mtrThat would bring the turbo up about half an inch.
Of course you would need 2 turbo gaskets though.

Thanks for this, I appreciate you taking time to throw suggestions my way.

I need a 2inch spacer (max) for the turbo manifold. It would push things closer towards the shock tower, completely away from the lower intake manifold.

My next task is fuel line setup/layout. Just picked up all my fittings, need to measure out ss fuel line lengths

You can get a Racing beat exhaust flange and some gaskets to space the manifold out from the lower manifold. You need to change studs though.
I have seen this done when guys run a T3 setup.Worked good.

if you want to really get creative.. grind/cut off all that extra crap on the LIM. you can use the coolant feed on the rear iron for the turbo, block the housing coolant ports with freeze plugs. the EGR will be blocked off by the manifold, so those holes in the LIM can be left open. i did this to my LIM and there is a lot more clearance
