There are a few around with duel oil coolers. Most of the time they are stock coolers, mounted in parallel. Once is generally mounted in the stock location with another above it and slightly more horizontal.

psh - All that does is further increase the likelyhood of overheating problems especially with FMIC'ed cars. One source of air per heat exchanger is the only way to go IMNSHO

TitaniumTT what hood prop rods do you have?

And are the hood pins the aerocatch ones? Where did you buy yours from?

That is a nice setup, but ideally they'd be plumbed in parallel, not in series.

Thanks

Ideally, yes, to make better use of the second cooler but I have found no concrete data regarding the difference between series and parallel. IFF I end up with oil cooling problems which I doubt based on not only the size of the coolers, but the size, capacity and efficiency of the rad, than I will plumb them in parallel and unlike the other tards that need to stand to post on the subject, I’ll actually have concrete data about pressure loss and cooling efficiency.

FWIW I went series for simplicity. Less potential leaks and cheaper because of the number of fittings needed.
