Door Will Not Open.
Door Will Not Open.
Hey, sounds stupid but hear me out. If i never lock the drivers side door, it will open, obviously, however, when i lock it and then unlock it, it will not open, and i have no idea what to do.
Any advice would be appreaciated, thank you!

lock it from the inside or outside? open from the inside or outside? if you take your door pannel off there are 2 metal rods that extend from the inner lock and handle to open and close the door. check and make sure they are connected at each end.
Lock it from the outside with the key, and it wont open from the inside and outside. if i manually lock it from inside, it will open, and actually, doesnt even stay locked if i lock it from the inside after i close the door. but once i use the key, it wont open.

ok it sounds to me like the same thing i just fixed on mine... just make a little picture in your mind of what im talking about cuz i dont have exact titles for each peice.. if you take the handle off there is a gold rod that opens the door and a plain metal rod that connects the lock mech. when you turn your key the lock mech rotates and swings the plain metal rod up and down... mine slipped out and i had to go get in the zone to get the little plastic piece to replace it. mine was pink (thats what ur looking for on the handle) it still locked because when you lock it the arm moves up and pushes the lock mech but when you try to unlock its not connected to anything to pull it back down... take off the door panel take the nut off the right side then rolld down your window and take off the left nut and your handle will slide out. oh and it wont stay locked from the inside cuz you have to hold the outside handle up when you close it. while i had my panel off i fixed that. (kinda anoying)
