Angry door problem, please help :(

My damn driver's door is stuck shut! I'm not totally stupid. I took off the door card as much as I could, it won't come off all the way because you need the door opened to get out all the screws. I was looking for the door latch connection point (door to car) but I'm having a hard time locating it due to my very small working space. Can anybody help me out please?

Thanks

Mine did that when I first got it. Sat in a field for 3+ years so the door was pretty much stuck.

Honestly, I just yanked on the door handle over and over and over again. Finally popped open. Done it from the outside and inside before.

Once I got it open I just WD-40ed all the parts and hasn't done it again.

mine did that but i was lucky beacuse i already had the door panel off. get some needle nose plyers and under the handle is a peace that broke from the handle part try to pull it with the plyers. that should work if yours is broken in the same place. i had two do that to me, both on the drivers side door.

Today I took the door panel off as much as I could but saw nothing to pull up on the open the door. I pulled on all kinds of stuff in there but nothing worked. Any suggestions guys. I need to get this door open, I'm tired of having to get in and out the passengers side

Did you take out all the screws?

There's 4 long ones underneath the door handle / armrest.
Remove the small Phillips head behind the inside door lock lever and carefully pry the "cup" out.
This should reveal another larger Phillips head screw that needs to be removed.

Now there's these long screws that are in the carpeted area - one in front and one in the back.
It's a pain to find them cause they are color key'd.

Once all of that is out, there's one more screw behind up high by the mirror - this one you cannot get to.
Just leave it for now.

Now, you gotta yank HARD to pull the door skin off.
No way else to get it off.
The one last screw you left should not put up that much of a fight.

Now, if all of that scares you, you can drop the window all the way down and stick a rod in it to try and trip the latch.
I think your return spring in the door latch is broken, and this is preventing the door from opening.
If you can trip the door latch, the door should pop open.
The door latch is toward the back and about in the middle (vertically) on the door.
