Does anyone Know how to remove the window cranck **** from the door on an 87 fc

 

Yeah, take a rag and insert it between the crank and the door panel. Work the rag back and forth until the clip pops out. Really!

there is a thin metal clip that looks like the omega sign ... what you have to do is just pop it out, like Go said use a rag or you can buy a proper clip remover tool. Personally i use a thin screwdriver, i just push the panel in and pop it out ...

 

or you could just buy the correct tool at your local auto parts store for $5-$10

 

correct tool?? ,no way, were rx-7 people you should know better then that by now! lol.....

i used a small flat head screw driver to pop the clip out.....

 

well, when you have lost a couple Jesus Clips (Car stereo installer slang term for the clip), you get the right tool so you don't get them flying off into the dark recesses of the garage or car.
