you can get another lock cyllinder. This is a common problem on rx7's. Mine does the same thing. I just enter through the passenger door.

I made a guide a while back to lubing your lock from the front and back. You could also use it to replace your lock. If the lube doesn't work (it usually does) then you could always switch the passenger lock with the driver's.
Here's the guide

get some graphite powder lubricant at the key stations at any home depot, wal-mart, etc..., shoot some in the key hole, usually works like a charm...

What wayne said works usually too. If not that, then front and back. If not that, then it's probably the lock itself. Like I said before, you can easily switch out passenger and driver side locks.

And I'd urge you to pull the cylinder right out and clean it. I pulled mine just a few weeks ago and it was jammed full of grey ****. The key wasn't even going all the way into the lock, it was so bad. I scrapped out as much as I could, then blasted it with carb cleaner. Much better now.

There used to be a white plastic, spring loaded door on the key slot.
After ~15 years it wears out, breaks loose & jams inside the key slot.
I cleaned mine out with a bent paper clip, then lubed the lock.
