ok here's the deal. I walked into the store and came back out about 30 mins later and got in my car. Put in the key, hit my fuel cutoff switch and turned the key. Nothing happens, no lights, no check engine light, no radio, nothing. I'm thinking its just a dead battery but it doesn't do anything at all. Doesn't click when I turn the key like all the other cars that I have had batteries die on or anything. The only thing that it did was my sub I had in the back just made a thump noise and then made a noise like it was about to blow up or something, then nothing. I am planing on waiting till tom to try to jump it but its pouring here and has all day and isn't supposed to stop till late tonight. Just wanted some input on it in case jumping it doesn't work.
Help me out please!!!

Check the battery voltage, if it's <10.5V nothing will happen, and it could be a dead alternator. Should be around 12V. Check all the fuses under the hood, especially the 80A main.

This happened to some guy in front of the store I work at (Checker Auto). I found the problem was a loose main 12v wire going to his main fuse block. If your battery isnt DOA, I would start looking around that area. Its the fuse block located in the engine bay. If you fried the 80 amp main fuse, your car dies completely.
