dont know what to do about my sunroof! need opinion's/advice!!!
I have a 87, the previous owner decided he wanted a sunroof so he put a aftermarket in, I think unless mazda used just a pop-up sunroof from "Car & Concepts, well with the recent direct hit of hurricane CHARLEY it has started to leak... :-( I cant find a sunroof the same size anywhere to replace it!!!
Does any one have any alternate ideas like removing it completely and replacing it with...BLANK.... or where a good place to look might be????? Im open to any and all opinions!
Thanks,
J Greene

First try to refresh the leaky seal by painting on a thin coat of RTV (silicone sealant) with your finger.
After it cures, close it & hose it to test.
If that fails, you could pull it & cap the hole with a 1/4" thick piece of "smoke" or translucent grey plexiglass.
Cut it 2" oversize, bevel the edges, attach it with ~30 flat head stainless screws & RTV.
A local plastic shop can fix you up.

I don't know where your located in Florida but you can call Bob's Top Shop at 3939 N. John Young Parkway Orlando Florida 407-293-3447. If Sure Shot's suggestion doesn't work I would try to find a new seal.
