Dont Feel Top End Power
i own a 90 rx-7 base model with custom header highflow cat and custom 2 1/2" exhaust.... i dont feel the top end power i feel i should... i just tried the grease test to see if the ports are opening and all is well as far as i can tell .... does anybody have any other suggestions as to things it could be or maybee this is all the power the car has ... i do not feel any pull at 3800 yet i do feel pull at 6000 for some reason then it falls off soon after like before 8 ..... i dont know if this is normal but any help would be appreciated.

make sure you check your plugs, tps, vacuum lines, timing, grounds and some other stuff for the 3800 problem, but as far as the 6k and above pull: that should be normal, and it is going to fall off after 6-7k

You might want to look at the intake side of things as well. Power falling off around 7k is perfectly normal, just due to the engine not being able to breathe. Also, as mentioned above, do a full tuneup. The stock ignition system is good, but if the plugs are badly worn and you have factory original plug wires, more than likely there is some serious ignition breakup going on at high RPM.
