If it's a high mileage engine, do a compression check & get back to us with the numbers...

Could be lots of other things, too, including grounds, do a search for "compression test" and "grounds"

"Doesn't start" = doesn't crank, or cranks & doesn't actually catch?

If it's the former, check your starter relay & the connections on the starter.

If it's the latter, most likely it's flooding.

it is loading up really bad, and running really rich. the story of the motor is, is that it started smoking, so i pulled the motor thinking that it was bad, and bought a jdm 30k mile motor. While out, i had a local shop do a compression check on both motors, and the one i pulled out of my car was better than the jdm. It smoked from the bad seals on the turbo, so i used the new jdm turbo, and put everything back together.

the car does crank over, and starts after it has sat for long periods of time. But it is loading up horribly, could it be an injector problem or anything in that sort.

i also just put a fuel cut switch in it thinking that would help, but it didn't. Like i said though, when it does get running it runs good, idles good, and runs really strong, its just gettin it started
