How old is your battery? If it isn't a sealed unit, when was the last time you checked the water levels?

How is your alternator? How new is the belt? When was the last time you tightened it?

When you're driving, does the xmas tree (dash warning lights cluster) come on? All of the lights together? This means that your charging sys isn't putting out enough zap...

The battery isnt that old. The alternator was replaced about 6 months ago. I dont know about the belts il check em. And none of the lights come on when there not supposed to. But now that I think of it ive been hearing some squeling under the hood.

check/tighten the fan belt, they can slip without making the squeal.

Also, go to wal mart or cdn tire or whatever it is they have in california and get your battery checked. It doesn't cost anything, and will tell you right away if its the problem or not.

Check what shape your belt is in b4 you tighten it. Twist it inside out (not the whole thing - you just want to inspect a few inches.) How does it look? Are there cracks? If so, junk it and get a new one.
