Where do you guys shop for parts ?

I am experiencing that everything is taking not weeks, but months...

Bushings on backorder 3rd month (ordered @ summit)
Greddy Intercoolers on backorder 3rd month (ordered @ rx7store)
Turbos from BNR are taking its time too....
etc...

That's how it goes. The market is small, so most tuners don't keep a large inventory and sometimes it takes a long time to build up enough orders for a manufacturer to do another production run. Order far in advance of your need. I am even slower in installing the parts I order -- they tend to build up before I get to installing things.

I dont know about the other stuff, but the turbos from Bryan are taking so long because he does each and every turbo he sells himself. Trust me when I tell you that they will be WELL worth the wait!

i have no problem with Bryans speed, problem is with rx7store and Jason .. i simply don`t understand how he is trying to do some bussines with absolute forgeting whats customer service...i would understand that some stuff is on backorder, could be delayed and such things, but not letting me know whats about it, not answering emails for days etc is making me crazy...
I already talked with some guys who WERE his customers and he lost them just because of lack respect to customer....
Of course he is not only one, there is lot of shops who acts same, but if i`ll go shopping to horsepowerfreaks.com or summitracing.com, i`ll always get prompt answer...yes or no.....i`m not upset about that i hear NO, i`m upset about not hearing anything....

Hearing a no, whether it be about a part, or them wanting to work on your car is a good thing. They arent being dishonest, and would rather tell you and let you decide to wait than dick you around.

It takes me a while to order stuff too. Mostly a problem with proper funding But when I have money I make sure the parts are in stock before I order.

pinfield

i know jason is doing good job, i`m just mentioning that by doing it like he is doing it now is loosing customers......its rule of business, when you biz is growing, u need to grow up, keep with it...otherwise u`ll get lost.....overlooked customer service = not happy customers and every trader needs happy customers, more likely when are other shops around trying to compete you....
