Does the Rx-7 have a coil?

Im having an idling problem and I think it is the coil/coil equivalent. If anyone can tell me where this is and the difficulty installing a new one, that would be great. Thanks!

There are three ignition coils on the 2nd gen RX-7. A leading coil pack, and trailing coil for each rotor.

and it would be extreamly (very very very very very) rare to have a coil be bad and effect idle.

What is the actual problem???

when the car warms up, it will not idle and stall. I tried adjusting the idle screw, but it didn't do anything, the car still stalled.

OH NO... you didn't mess with the idle screw (often called the $1000 screw- because that is how much it will cost to get it back right).

Your TPS is probably out of adjustment.

In the future, you would want to avoid changing parts out, or adjusting anything until you have at least gotten a service manual. Just turning adjustments is a bad thing.

and poor idle is not related to the coils at all...

How hard would it be to adjust the TPS?

Its very easy. Look it up in the online FSM (found in the FAQs on the main 2nd gen page.)
