does the rotaryaviation kit include coolant seals?

and how many people spend the extra cash for the complete kit vs the basic?

the car has a blown coolant seal, so I'm trying to decide how much I should replace, it's not clear to me on their parts list if the seal I need is included in the basic, and a search turned up lots and lots of nothing.

I would just get the o-ring set. It includes the colant seals you would need. They are also upgraded versions of the stock ones, less likely you will decinigrate another one. They are 160ish shipped. Not to mention you get other o-rings you can replace also.

the car has 100k on it, if I understand correctly you think I should just get the O-ring kit and forgo the rebuild?
if I'm going to rebuild I'd get both of course, but I figured as long as I was in there doing seals a full rebuild would be in order.

Oh damn. I just found out that the car overheated when the seal went. Full rebuild it is then

so the question remains, which kit do you guys think? basic or master?

Take it apart first and see what can be salvaged then decide. I thought you were originally asking what kit to get for the coolant seal failure.

I was, originally. I didn't know the engine had overheated until just a bit ago. I also wasn't sure if the coolant seals came in the basic kit, it appears that the basic kit includes that o-ring kit, so I think I'm good to go there.
