Does pre-mixing foul the plugs sooner?

I seem to go through plug a little quicker than usual. I run on pre-mix with a removed OMP on an NA. I know rotaries eat spark plugs compared to pistons, but what do all you pre-mixers get for plug life typically?

about 15k max when premixing, depends on what your ratios are and how well the car is tuned really though.

I mix 1:100, 8 oz. per 6 gallons typically. My FC is stock tune with open exhaust. It's been about 9k and I think they're going. I know I often mix rich on the 2-stroke though.

It may have something to do with running a lower compression S4 block in my S5 though. I change my spark plugs every 15k on the FD, which still uses the OMP. I guess pre-mixing makes no real difference then unless you mix a bit rich as I do ocassionally.

if you mix it too rich then it will lower the octance of the fuel...i guess that might cause your plugs to fowl a bit quicker but i dont think it would be a huge difference

they might foul a bit quicker, but whats another 25 bucks for new plugs every 6 months when you have the added assurance that your engine is getting all the oil it needs
