Does every S4 TII have hot start issue?

I was wondering if any S4 TII cars start perfectly even in really hot weather?

I used to have a hot start problem. Got a new battery and no problems. Guess the engine wasn't turning over fast enough.

Thats odd.. Mine had full compression and brand new injectors and still hot started. Went to a Haltech, and the hot start went away...

Interesting....

Probably a sensor problem then, which a Haltech would also cure.

my 87 t2 has only flooded ONCE in the entire time I've had it. (4 1/2 months)
I'm pretty good about not going on super short trips, but if it gets a trip that doesnt get it warmed up then so be it.

The engine doesn't need to actually warm up to avoid "short-start" flooding, it just needs to get out of the cold-start mode the ECU seems to use. In my experience (and I've done this heaps of times) as long as the engine isn't shut off with in the first 30 seconds of a cold start there will be no flooding problems next start.

Mine has never had any problems, except for when i broke off the coolant thermosensor and when the alternator & battery died. Actually my car starts up faster when its hot (wierd...) and has never flooded, even when I shut off my car within the 30sec of a cold start (moving car out to wash).

Everything is stock too... or is it? maybe i should dig around - lol
