does a blown motor rev smooth?
if you rev a motor with a blown seal past 2k up to 4k will it be smooth running?... because my car is smooth past 2k but when you go below that it starts shaking really bad and drops to about 500 rpms and then after about 5-10 seconds at 500 rpms it stalls? i want to do a compression check but dont have a way to get to autozone right now and im leavin for a week tomm and i would like to know if this sounds like a blown motor... btw the car is flooding alot though i think its because im not getting it warmed up very much because it wont idle

I'm not too sure but I don't think that means it's blown. Isn't it the case when the seal goes that you don't have compression at all and the car doesn't run? I'm sure other people have more input than this... but bump

it feels a lot smoother in the higher rpms then the lower.. I have been booting around in my T2 that has very poor rear rotor compression. Its decent above 3K but shakey below that.. tricky it get up to that high sometimes

When I blew my NA before rebuilding it, It could easily rev to 7k and back, but would idle very low, shake like a paint mixer, and it had NO power. It also sounded like a harley.
