Does anyone recognize this?

So two of my gauges wont read sensor output, Fuel & Temp Gauges. I took my cluster apart trying to find the culprit. The sensor measure the right resistance from the harness and the two gauges work when energized separately, but once connected to the circuit they wont work. So I am trying to debug the circuit board.
So if anyone knows what this symbol stands for I would appreciate it.

The hourglass is what's called a "gunn diode". Below that appears to be a wire shielded by the common wire (to prevent noise?)

Time for a new cluster.
