My car acts real funny after i drop the clutch or loose traction the slightest bit with the rear wheels (no rice). I raced my friend and i launched at 3500 and dropped the clutch. it ran fine but then once i slowed down my car was incredibly slow and has surges of even lower power. and today i went around a corner and the tires barely squelled i wasn't going that fast and the same thing happened. this happens whenever i drive the car some what hard.

i have replaced the spark plugs. i got some new magnecore wires coming in the mail (i doubt this will fix it). If this doesn't work i will get the injectors cleaned.

has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

 

maybe your injectors need to be cleaned....

What kind of car? NA? TII?

 

it's an NA, where do you get them cleaned anyways, a mazda dealership? and how long does it take?

 

Could it be that your clutch is getting worn?

 

I think RC engineering cleans them for 12 bucks a pop or something. Don't go to the stealership. You'd have to send out your injectors and it would take a few days....unless you have some place locally that will clean injectors for ya....

 

no its not the clutch it doesn't slip or anything. it revs up just as slow in neutral also.

 

haha so no go on the stealership. I will have to search around for someone who cleans them locally since this is my only car. or i can bum rides since i am on summer vacation.

 

don't worry...I'm in the same position that you are. My TII runs like ****. Needs a possible teardown and rebuild and it's my only car since the wife won't let me buy a daily driver...

 

i don't have a wife but i have a mom (i'm 17) and she is to stingy about her car to let me barrow it for a few days.

so does everyone think the injectors are the problem and i should have them cleaned?
