That's the lower shielding for the Apexi thermal impulse drive chamber. You must have a EuroSpec RX7 as that was popular for Autobahn driving. You can recognize cars with the aftermarket equipment as cars so equiped have a glowing light coming out from underneath and perhaps from the wheelwells.

You need to re-install it ASAP as it is protective shielding for the excess heat it throws off. I read that APexi has an upgrade in R&D that utilizes Dilithium Crystals. Much more efficient and less prone to failure.

That looks like a flat version of the turbo heat shields. The heat shields around the turbos on our cars have that same mesh with the fiber insulation.

"That looks like a flat version of the turbo heat shields."

That could be it also.

From the bottom of the s5 turbo maybe? I know the ones on my s4 were contoured to the turbo and manifold.

Well Its an N/A Car so its not for turbos... I doubt its Exhaust shielding... If its a "lower shielding for the Apexi thermal impulse drive chamber", Wheres that at?.... and If I do need it I would have to replace it with a new one!?- Correct?

Haha, he's pulling your chain, there's nothing like that. Looks like a heat shield of some sort, unless you live in some REALLY hot environment, I wouldnt worry too much about it.

You might check to see the panel covering the PIAA Warp Drive conduits is missing as well.

It's the heat shield from the front of the NA exhaust manifold.
