Does anyone know if this will fit?

It's off of a 3rd gen, does anyone know if it'd fit a s4 water pump?

If the answer is no, just say it, don't bash.

For those 2nd gen owners who are considering a V-mount IC, this piece would be helpful for radiator plumbing routing.

Thanks,

J

Short answer is...no.

Long answer is...it's possible.
You'll need to swap out water pump studs into the front iron, since they are different lengths; the FD ones are longer, IIRC.
Now that will allow you to bolt the FD water pump on.
You now gotta take care of the pulleys, since the FD is serpentine, and the FC ones are v-belts.
This pretty much necessitates all FD auxiliaries, or machining a custom pulley.

Bottom line, it's a fricken waste of time.
