Transmission Problems HELP!!!!!

I have a big problem. One day I was driving my car and it made a big clunking noise. Then I had absolutely no gears at all. I bought a new transmission and installed it. Then after putting it in I started it up and still had no gears. The gears won't even grind when I try to force it into gear. I have absolutely nothing. What is wrong?!?!? Could it be the clutch?

are you saying the transmission goes in gear, but the car just keeps idling like nothing's happening?

it sounds like your pilot bearing is busted.

Ok, The SAME EXACT thing happened to me just recently.... Its definitely a problem within any of the clutch components. You didnt inspect your clutch at all when you put in the new tranny?
