Does anyone have the Denso or HKS Iridium spark plugs in their RX, if so how much of a horsepower boost have you experienced? If not, what plugs do you have? I was on the RXsecret website and the HKS plugs as well as the Denso's have a heat range, what heat range is best for the RX?

Also, can anyone recommend a good cold air intake system, I was hoping for one like AEM, but I dont think they make one for the RX, are there any out there with an instant torque and horsepower boost at around 3000 RPM like AEM claims.

big waste of money. Just use the factory NGK's. Run all trailings if your running more than stock boost.

I highly doubt you actually get any HP from different spark plugs. Acceleration might be a little bit smoother, but doubt any HP increase.

ErnieT had them in his car and the electrode broke off of one and messed up his motor, or so he says.

Nippondenso vs NGK

Both are considered factory replacement and, in my opinion, same quality. I run which ever are less expensive or available at the time of need. I'm actually running Nippons on all three of my '7s only because I got a good group deal a while back.

NGK's are WAY more available and consistantly the least expensive, thus most popular.

However, to my knowledge these two manufacturers are the only ones that make plugs specifically for Wankles. Anybody suggest other manufacturers of a similar vein?
