I have 3rd gen rims now but I used to run the 225/50/16's in the back. It worked great for me. Don't even think about putting them in front.

heres 225 50 16 kumhos on my car.... i have 215 50 16s up front and its a tight fit. i also have the tokico non adjustables on all 4 corners, so it handles fairly well with the stock springs and such.

How were the suspension techniqes springs?I was actually looking into that brand, and did you keep the stock struts with the auto suspesion?

Did you try the 225/50 up front and what happend?

I would like something wider than a 205 up front,Do you have side veiw pics?

i'm sure it will be ok with a 1 inch drop, but if u are gettin new tires, u should go to discount tire, and have them test fit the tires to make sure they won't rub or anything.....(trust me, had to do that plenty of times when i worked there)

heres the side

and the width from the front

Hey nice TII,What muffler is that, and wouldnt a single muffler set up be better for a turbo rotary?

I get tires almost at wholesale cost,i will probally get someone at the dealership I worked at to mount/balance them ..Im thinking of running the Kumho 712 or the Yokahama Paradas

I have a set of those rims with my 225/50 khumo V700 race tires all around, and the car is pretty slammed with the k2rd suspension kit. I don't recall rubbing at any time with those on there. The set of volks with Dunlop SP8000 are a different story though... the SP8000 have fatter sidewalls and the volks have a little more outward offset in front, so they hit the fenders sometimes... which is why I'm looking at getting the wide fenders...

I have 225/50/16's all around on my car, work GREAT. Although, I never have fealt my car with anything less. TINY bit of rubbing for the first 100 or so miles...ate about 1/16th of an inch into the tires...just ground off the edge a little and it fits just fine...CLOSE but fine.

a single might make a tiny tiny difference, but a full 3" exhaust on that turbo works/worked perfectly til i ran a little too much boost. if i had a big t78 or something, i'm sure a single 3" exhaust would work best. but the dual works fine for me, flows real well, sounds bad ***, and looks fuggin mean as all hell.
