ive got a streetport (a large one) and it sounds the same at idle. its a little more noticeable at wot, but i also have a 3" exhaust...

 

well mine sounds way different

 

A ported exhaust (ealier open and close {which is typical on a "street port" template} ot to mention the diffuser missing) makes a HUGE I repeat HUGE differance in sound. The ported engines (especially N/A) are MUCH MUCH louder then stock port. Keep that in mind when you port an engine and choose an exhaust system.
