Sorry if this sounds remedial, but I wanted to know if S5 front and rear bumper can just bolt up to an S4 body. Or do you need to change something around, like the support or some other?

 

They fit, and vice versa.

Do all holes match up or do you have to drill a few news ones to line up?

Is that the same for the front bumper? And how about the tailight assembly... is that an easy swap, or am I stuck with ugly looking tailights on my '86?

YES you can put S5 tails on your S4 - you need to bend/trim one piece of the structue on the back near where the licnese plate lights are. Aaron cake has a write up on his website.

YES you can put an S5 bumper on an S4 - the mouldings are just differet and won't line up.
