Do pulleys often go bad on these cars?

It seems my A/C pulley went out on me a few months ago. I replaced the belt and it was most definitely the pulley causing the sound. I own a convertible so I just took it off and I put the top down when it's hot. But, now it's making a similar noise, probably from one of the other pulleys. So I'm wondering is this common? And is there a place I can purchase new pulleys at a reasonable price? Or is there a good aftermarket set I should look for?

By the way it doesn't sound like belt squeal. I also tried the soap bar trick on the belts to see if it was a noisy belt, but it didn't stop the sound, I think the belts on the car are in good condition.

Idler pulley bearings (you have 2 of them), can be purchased from auto parts stores like NAPA or Kragen. You can press them out/in from the pulleys with a hammer and something to pad the blows.
