I would like to add a little more to what I initially posted.
Again, I do NOT condone what this guy said or did, PERIOD.
I was merely pointing out that **** happens, and it sometimes gets the most of us.  All of you who mention that you would never do such things - I find this hard to believe.  Either that or you're a much better human being than I am.
I've been on the business side of things, and I've been through a lot of crap dished out by customers.  I wouldn't have gone off in front of a customer like that, but I'd sure sneak in some snide remarks AFTER the customer has left.
Note, I didn't know MazMart treated customers this badly.  I only know of them from the ads I've seen, and they look like a pretty big RX-7 parts dealer from their ads - I have never done business with them personally.
This is the end of my input on this thread, as it really has nothing to do with FC's...

There's no excuse for blowing up like that, the man's a POS! Unless Harry's life virtually ended 2 secs before he walked in I wouldn't give him the steam off my **** in sympathy. Only then would he be prevy to a mL of my steam!
I HATE IT when people rag on those who've just come to north america. (although this technically doesn't apply, that POS thought it did) It's a proven fact that immigrants contribute far more to our society than they take. Most of the people who've been born here feel like everyone owes them something and are lazy SOBs!

Don't feel bad for asking the POS guy for a lower price. I've seen a set of 1st gen rims with tires go out of a local yard for 60. The whole damned set. People that run these overpriced yards need to wake the hell up.

hell 1 wheel for 60. that means a set is 240. i am getting an entire working engine from a junkyard (with everything on it) for 250.
hopefully getting the entire drivetrain for an extra 100

Here might be an example:
He comes to the counter. You ask, “What’s your best price?”
He says $60.
You say “I’ve got $50 cash on me, but for $60, I’ll have to charge it.”
(You are showing respect for his business, and offering an option)
He makes his choice.. You make yours..

The customer is always right! That doesn't mean that I do whatever the cusatomer asks. It means that I will tell the customer something like "You're right, that price might be a little high but, I can't sell it for less, I'm sorry". The customer then has to make a decision.
I have employed more than one person in the past that told me "I'm glad you ain't got no ******* working for you". Those people were worked only until I could find a replacement for them.
I am a 40 year old, white male of Italian decent (my family came to the U.S. in 1904). I can remember my grandfather complaining about the "Jew's store", down the street.
We all have our own prejudices, I sure do have mine! BUT..., you would likely never know it. I try hard to be fair in buying and selling. (My sales are $1,800 - $17,000 each)
Anyway, that guy is a *****. You are doing the best thing that you can. Do it and then leave it alone, you'll have done your part in his demise. I mean, you've convinced me to never buy from them.
