unless u plan on running methanol... DONT

rotories are already very sensitive to detonation...don't push ur luck

if u REALLY REALLY need the car... drive it like that but STAY OUT OF BOOST

waiting a week for a intercooler is better then saving up for a new engine

How are you planning on controlling the boost?

If you are using a stock system with a free flowing exhaust your only boost control is your right foot. Unless you ported the WG a lot.

If that is the case you are risking it.

What if you need to floor it for some reason and it goes to 14psi? That is easily over 200F without an intercooler. Your going to blow your engine.

If you can keep it out of boost, then it will be fine.

But the chances of keeping a high compression, turbo 6 port engine out of boost are very slim.

ok thanks I will try not to drive it unless I have to. I also think I have sone boost lag my boost gauge reads only vac untill I hit about 4500 rpm then all of a sudden 6psi in no time. My lines are ran off the intake mani. And wankel7 I have a 40mm external wastegate with a 6 psi spring and a t04b .60ar do you think the wastegate is big enough? I also think I have a vac leak somewhere but I dont have the time to check it out right now. Just a project I work on during my spare time. Again thanks.
