Do i need an additional Fuel Pressure Regulator?

Just wondering if I really need and aftermarket Fuel Pressure Regulator for a Walbro pump, or should the stock FPR in the stock secondary rail be able to handle it?

Also, I know that the stock FPR has a vacuum line coming off of it, but I don't have anywhere to attach it to because I removed all of the solenoid valves when i took out all the emissions and rats nest.

Opinions? Do I need one now that my vacuum/boost solenoids are gone? Thanks

The stock FPR will be fine with that pump. also, you still need a vacuum source going to that.

Connect your FPR to any regular vacuum nipple on the intake manifold, post-TB. I'll go check where I have mine hooked to when I go to shovel snow in a minute .

EDIT: mine is connected to the vacuum nipple right next the where the AWS valve used to be.

You may have a richer idle with the Walbro and stock FPR. If you have an s4 car with stock ECU or Rtek, you can somewhat lean out the idle using the variable resistor.

Is there an article or site that explains what to do with this resistor?
