Alright after seeing a few reman threads and nothing of it just learning about red markings and stuff but I think I have a reman motor now heres the story. After reading this thread https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/replaced-motor-how-do-i-tell-415541/ and seeing my oil pan was rtv'd at one point I thought it could possibly be a reman, then i was putting together the shortblock-longblock form and saw the main bolt was marked up in red, got a little exited and looked around for more red, then i saw on the coolant drain plug there was red and there looks to be some red on a bolt on my water pump housing there does look to be some small black check marks on my flywheel nut though. Since it doesn't have a stamp i'm going to assume this is a pre-97 reman. It seems that these are the only places of red on the motor, i've looked at other places but haven't found them, does this still mean its a reman?

Oh also i'll probably drop the motor in my car but I want to clean out the housings, should i just put oil in and crank it around or is there anything better to "flush" it out. Thanks
